This entire house with private, dedicated access allows you to come and go easily. We provide luxury linens, a sparkling clean house and all the amenities of home. We're located steps from the popular restaurants and shopping of South Congress! Please note: you must climb a spiral staircase to get to the guest house. The second bed is in a loft accessible with a ladder. You need solid mobility. This guest house was completed in 2019 and is perched above a spiral staircase to get to the main floor. You will also need to climb a loft ladder to utilize the second queen bed in the loft so we do want to make sure you're aware and comfortable doing so. The house has tons of natural light, high end furnishings and 20 foot vaulted ceilings! It was designed and built for guests to have all the amenities like luxurious bedding and fixtures right in the heart of classics like Guero's, The Continental Club, Hopdoddy's, Home Slice and more! The dedicated outdoor porch lets you start your day with a coffee from the in-unit Nespresso or Mañana, the coffee shop right next door. You can enjoy live music during the weekends at multiple spots nearby! You'll have access to the entire guest suite and dedicated porch with outdoor seating. This is a completely separate guest house and so you have fully private and separate entrance. Aside from normal workdays we're often available in person but we are always just a text or message away! Come and go easily with private access to this inviting Travis Heights guesthouse. The lively South Congress commercial area, the Rainey Street Historic District, quiet tree-lined streets great for walking, and the downtown area are all just minutes away. The dedicated outdoor porch lets you start your day with a coffee from the in-unit N-espresso or Manana, the coffee shop right next door. You can enjoy live music at the weekend at multiple spots nearby and lovely local shopping! Uber and Lyft are staples of transportation in Austin as well as scooters and bikes that you can pick up on the sidewalk. We are on an express bus line as well that can take you near and far. You're in the heart of it all and it's easy to get around. We also offer 1 on-site parking space if you choose to rent or drive in your own car. The hotel next door is a popular venue for events that take place often on Thursday, Friday and Saturday. This means there could be loud, live music for weddings and events. It ends by 11 pm on the weekends but be aware if you'd be disturbed by it. We love the energy it brings but it's not for everyone.

The cheery bathroom has subway tiles on the wall and penny rounds on the floor. Two giant oak trees in front of the house provide a leafy green canopy for most of the year. You have your own completely private apartment and your own balcony. There is ample street parking in front of the house. You can walk to Magazine Street, Freret Street (also lots of restaurants and bars) and Audubon Park. Vacation or business, we expect you treat our home as if it were your own. No smoking indoors. No pets. No late night caterwauling. A side note: we have a family of wild turkeys that visit the property, as well as abundant wildlife. We also free range our 3 chickens and 3 dusks named Larry, Curley and Mo. We also have 3 female Longhorn, Toodles, Daisy and Clarabell. The manicured property is located on a private, 13-acre hobby ranch on the border of Dripping Springs and Austin. Walk down to Barton Creek or visit the longhorns in the pastures. Evenings are magical on the expansive porch; very romantic. Dripping Springs is a dark skies community so on a clear night you can enjoy some amazing star gazing.

It's close to Barton Springs & Zilker Park, ABGB, Soup Peddler - Real Food & Juice Bar, Gourdough's, Papalote, Phoenicia, Broken Spoke, Torchy's, Red's Porch, Kerbey Lane, Matt's El Rancho, Patika Cafe, Bouldin Creek Cafe, Wheatsville, Maria's. You’ll love the views into the trees, the location, the ambiance, the quiet near the action. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, and families (but not child-proof). The kitchen opens into the dining area and living room, and there are two separate bedrooms. The interior space is 750 sf, and the back deck is roughly 280 sf. The large sliding glass doors in both the living room and one of the bedrooms lend an indoor-outdoor living atmosphere, adding space and the feeling of being up in the trees. My place is the back unit in a duplex. It's very private and quiet, set off from the street. I'm easy to reach via Airbnb messaging, email or phone, happy to offer local tips. And of course I'm available should anything come up during your stay, as is the housekeeper. Listen to the quietness of this green and hilly neighborhood, close to Zilker Park and Barton Springs. Alternatively, head for nearby South Lamar, which is loaded with restaurants, shops, cinemas, and cafes—there's plenty to do right nearby.
