It is located just a short walk from the beach, perfect for spotting marine wildlife or catching a kayak tour. Picture windows in the sunroom capture the midnight summer sun and the dramatic forest views. The cottage features a master bedroom with a queen sized bed, and a private carpeted loft with a queen-sized mattress. A double futon in the living room brings the total sleeping areas to 6. The kitchen is fully equipped with pots, pans, dishes and utensils, and the house also features a full bath. Guests can enjoy use of the picnic area, with a barbecue grill and fire pit. A crib and baby gate are also available if required.

We are one of Sewards Historic buildings and part of the Historic walking tour. This rental has been renovated to provide modern amenities, but we kept some of the historic charm. Cute 1950’s cottage charmingly restored with antiques and nautical decor. It is perfect for two adults, good with a couple kids added or total of three adults but tight with 4 adults. Centrally located it is a 13 minute walk to downtown (.7 miles), 8 minute walk to the boat harbor (.5 miles), 5 minute walk to Two Lakes Park and a 2 minute walk to the gazebo on the lagoon. The fenced yard backs up to the mountain for added privacy.

Our cottage is in the perfect location in downtown Seward, but it's also privately situated in the backyard and is protected from tourist traffic.
