Winter? bring your own skiis for the groomed trail on the lake. A neatly appointed kitchenette gets you through the basics. Use the grill for bigger meals. Eagle's Nest Cabin on Salmon Creek

The perfect location for your family's Seward adventures! Just over a mile from town while still being in a quiet, wooded neighborhood (and avoid the city bed tax). An eagles nest on the property is above Salmon Creek and, depending on the year, American Bald Eagles use the nest to raise young. You'll be a short drive from the grocery store, Exit Glacier, and the Alaska Sealife Center. Enjoy the full kitchen, outdoor grill, and fire pit. A short path crosses the 1 acre property to Salmon Creek.

This cozy, barndominium-style cabin (1 of 2 units on property) provides a perfect escape for up to 4 guests. Ideal for a small family/group of friends, it offers a queen bed in a loft and a full-size pullout couch in the main living area. This glass-front Aframe cabin was completed March 5, 2020. Its modern appeal includes a master bedroom downstairs, a loft bedroom upstairs, and a sofa couch in the living area for a comfortable max of 6 people. The units also include a beautiful wet room, clawfoot tub, wood pellet stove, kitchenette, and private deck. Set 6 feet off the forest floor, this naturally lit cabin has an especially enchanting canopy view of Resurrection Bay. Salted Roots Cabins offers 5 private nightly units.

Activities of sea kayaking and hiking are included! Our secluded location is accessible only by boat from Seward, Alaska. We provide boat transportation for all guests. The boat trip is about 40 minutes each way - look for wildlife like whales, otters, eagles, sea lions, and more! This entire experience is included in your nightly rate.

Alaska Alpine Meadow Retreat—upper unit*

Modern day homestead in the making! We are adjacent to State, National Forest Service, and National Park Service lands in a beautiful, quiet wooded neighborhood with views of Resurrection and Benson Mountains and Resurrection River. This upper unit, "Alpine", is a two-bedroom and sleeps up to six people, has a full kitchen, full bath, living space with pull-out queen sofa bed, and washer/dryer. The lower one-bedroom unit "Meadow" is also available to rent.
