Converted from an old guardhouse, Garrison Hotel combines historical atmosphere with modern facilities. There is free WiFi, and a restaurant serving homemade food. Blue John Suite at Cheshire Mews Castleton

Located centrally in the picturesque village of Castleton in the Peak District National Park. Castleton lies on the western edge of the Hope Valley, within sight of Mam Tor and the limestone canyon of Winnats Pass. Walking straight from the room into the gorgeous Peak District finishing off with a drink and meal in one of many walkable local pubs. Blue John is our newest and largest suite with a large sofa and three windows to admire the view. Please note the fire is for display purposes only.

It is within a short distance to the Peak District, Bars & Restaurants on Ecclesall Road & the City Centre. Free Wifi & Parking. Please note the the restaurant & bar is closed, but there are lots of fantastic options locally.

The building dates from the 18th Century and was originally the main farm in the village serving Wortley Hall, the ancestral home of the Earl of Wharncliffe.
