Pumphouse

We updated the “PUMPHOUSE" on our homestead and turned it into a cozy tiny house with unique cordwood walls and a very small but functional layout. Complete with one twin bed, and one swing-up single bunk that can be an adventure to climb into, but is a joy to sleep in! Also, there is a small counter with sink, storage, outdoor hot & cold shower, 110v plug-in for vans, epic views from a small deck and a composting outhouse nearby. This beautiful space is perfect for the quick - Gorge "get-away!"

Our cozy guest house can be your home base to explore the Columbia Gorge National Scenic Area. We're 75 minutes from the Portland airport and 10 minutes from an Amtrak stop. Relax among amazing vistas of the Columbia River, Hood River Valley, and Mt. Hood from your own perch on the Underwood Bluff. Fall asleep with moonlight on the water, wake to sun on the mountain. Then, rise to revel in this place -- hiking, biking, windsurfing, sampling local beer, wine, salmon, and so much more. . . .

Iman Treetop Loft

Cozy creative loft ("treehouse") in serene peaceful forest setting near Rock Creek, 1 mile from Skamania Lodge or waterfall. Separate bedroom with sink; full bathroom, full kitchen, den w/couch-pull out queen bed, lounge beside window, gas wall fireplace, outdoor tub/shower, deck overlooking forest. Chickens on site. Environmentally friendly, using many materials in the construction that are considered LEED certification worthy. Lots of windows. Backyard deck, metal chiminea, gas BBQ. No TV.

Located on a private road in a quiet rural neighborhood, the Guest Studio offers a comfortable space, not too much but just enough to relax and unwind after an epic day full of fun and adventure in the Gorge, an all season venue! Kiteboard, kayak, canoe! Hike, bike! Ski, sled, ski-mobile! Ample yard area to store your gear. Back road access to our nearest National Forest, minutes away from White Salmon and Hood River, park'n ride to Skihood!

The Eagle’s Nest

This quiet studio is tucked away on a tranquil forest paradise, magically only 3 minutes from downtown bars, restaurants, supermarket and the kite/windsurf beach. Central location for wind sports, water sports, mountain biking, and hiking. This 2nd floor studio boasts expansive windows for an unobstructed view of the meadow and creek below frequented by deer, wild turkeys, and bunnies. It comes equipped with a kitchenette. Private parking located next to studio's private entrance staircase.

The Nest in Hood River

This is a studio-style guesthouse — the bed, kitchenette, and seating area are all part of one open space. Toilet/shower are separate. It’s perfect for solo travelers or couples looking for a quiet, comfortable place to land. Centrally located, you're just a short walk to downtown restaurants, cafes, and shops — no car required. But if you do drive, you’re within easy reach of it all: wine tasting, river sports, skiing, hiking, mushroom foraging — the Gorge has it all, and it’s all nearby.

Visit one of the five top-rated wineries within a 5-minute drive on Underwood Mountain, or take a short trip to nearby national forests, river access, and other outdoor adventures.

Little Avalon

This newly upgraded family cottage has been a comfortably living accommodations for our kids and parent when needed. We were able to upgrade it with new floors, bathroom and kitchen for our new Airbnb guest to come stay and enjoy our wonderful Gorge. In this setting you are surrounded by the locals and we are just a 1/4 of an acre away. The kitchen has all the amenities and if you don't like coffee the quick way there is a coffee pot and french press for your coffee desires.

The Overlook

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. Enjoy views towards Underwood, the White Salmon River, and peek-a-boo views of the Columbia and Mt. Hood. The Overlook is on over 3 acres of land ensuring peace and quiet. Enjoy the large deck that feels like you are in a treehouse! Enjoy hearing the White Salmon river flow below you to the west and on a clear night, the stars come out! Because of frequent visits from deer, please keep your pets at home.

The Dojo | Mountain Adventure Basecamp

Peaceful Retreat in the Woods – Adventure & Serenity Combined Nestled on 5 wooded acres, The Dojo offers the perfect escape for nature lovers, outdoor adventurers, or anyone seeking a peaceful getaway. Surrounded by trees and the sounds of the nearby White Salmon River, this tranquil setting is just a short 10-minute drive from town and only 15 minutes from the Hood River Bridge—making it a convenient home base for exploring the Columbia River Gorge.

Coyote Cabin

Coyote Cabin is a very small cozy home in a secluded area of Trout Lake. We are about a half hour from the Columbia River Gorge at the base of Mount Adams. We are close to the beautiful Lewis River falls, Ice Caves, cheese caves, white water rafting along with many trails to hike. The cabin is on our 5 acres along with the main residence. We enjoy meeting our guest but respect your privacy so we stay at our place with our 2 dogs.
