This is a lovely cabin in the woods - sitting next to my home.( about 150 feet away) The area could be described as "rustic"- insofar as it IS the Oklahoma Osage Hills- 20 miles via a nice drive into Tulsa. Also about 45 minutes from Pawhuska, Oklahoma, home of the Osage Nation - and the Pioneer Woman, Ree Drummond. The view is overlooking the Osage Hills of Oklahoma. You can be as private as you want, or hike, drive to the lake, kayak. Peaceful and serene. Perfect for rural- loving folks.

The Apartment Away

We welcome you to The Apartment Away from busy city streets with private entry, just outside of Owasso. Your private entrance opens to a living room with smart TV, fully stocked kitchen with island, and laundry room. The spacious bedroom has a queen size memory foam mattress, and en suite bathroom with walk-in shower. Heated and cooled attached sunroom is great for watching wildlife. We are on 2 wooded acres just a couple miles from shops and stores, in a safe and quiet country neighborhood.

Are you looking for that special place with peace and quiet? Our place is small town but so close to countless points of interest. Dewey has Tom Mix museum, historical hotel, Prairie Song and streets filled with antique stores. Bartlesville is four short miles from Dewey and offers countless museums and points of interest. Don't miss Ree Drummonds Pioneer Woman's Mercantile, Charlie's Sweet Shop and P-Town Pizza they are only 40 minutes away. So many things to see or just sit back and relax.

Our guesthouse has a very warm, peaceful decor to parallel the nature around it. You will likely see many deer and other wildlife from the huge covered back porch while enjoying a meal cooked in your full kitchen. You will also have access to an attached single-car garage where there is also a washer and dryer available for your use. The pool is left open year round. Relax and watch the sunset in the cool ac after a hot day on the lake or in the hot tub on chilly days. This lakefront home is near Cross Timbers Marina where boats and slips are often available for rental. Ideal for family gatherings. Note: No easy access to the lake. A steep unmaintained trail leads to the shoreline which is also not maintained. Hot tub is seasonal and may not be available during warmer weather. Contact host for off season rates.
