Aldercroft Pod is a Luxury Glamping Pod situated in Inverinate, with views of Loch Duich and the 5 sisters of Kintail. The pod is 2.5 miles from Dornie and Eilean Donan Castle. We are 13miles from the Skye Bridge and Isle of Skye. Ideal base for hillwalking in Kintail and Glenshiel. The Pod is located in our garden space, around 20 meters from the house but still very private and with a better view! We are located just off the A87 which is the (busy at times) main road to the Isle of Skye!

From here you can also explore the rest of the island and mainland at your leisure.

It's also ideal for kayakers or walkers. The bothy is next to the host's artist’s studio which it is possible to see by arrangement. With rocky coast and woodland behind, and the sea almost lapping at the front door, this simple but stylish bothy has everything you could need for the most restful of breaks.

From the house, you can take a lovely coastal walk along the shores of Loch Harport. There's lots of places to eat nearby, including Café Cùil, The Old Inn & the Oyster Shed. Surrounded by trees, it is a very calm and peaceful setting. It is a 5 mile drive to Mallaig where you can get the ferry across to Skye. Local beaches such as Camusdarach Beach with their white sands are great to explore and just a short walk away.
