Amazing handcrafted cabin located in the center of the "Roanoke Triple Crown" (McAfee's Knob, tinker cliffs and dragons tooth trails) just minutes from each trail head. Cabin is tucked away from everything. No other houses can be seen from the cabin. The cabin overlooks a beautiful pond with a small waterfall cascading in. Cabin was sustainability built with trees from the 20 acres it sits on. McAfee's Knob trailhead is 10 minutes away, Andy Layne trailhead to tinker cliffs is 9 minutes away.

The Magical Cabin on Back Creek

Magic is the word most people use when they visit this hidden gem. Built in 1939 as a fishing cabin by a gentleman who incorporated box cars as rafters and beams, dates still visible since removing the attic. By far the best place I've ever lived. I decided to share it with others who love to explore, who love listening to the voice of the creek or who come just to sit on the porch high above the creek with a spouse, friend, family, or alone. Welcome to Cedar’s Rest. Nestled in between surrounding Cedars, centered in a 26 acre hayfield just minutes from the blue ridge parkway. Read a book while lying on the hammock listening to all the beautiful sounds of nature. It’s great for birding and watching wildlife. Two bedrooms with plush King beds. Full bathroom with walk-in shower, full sized stove, and refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, Grill, WIFI and television! Outside you can enjoy a covered deck or sit around the fire pit.

Cedar Key Cabin - Perfect lakefront getaway!

'Cruising Altitude' is a peaceful waterfront cabin on no-wake cove. Dog friendly! Beautiful and relaxing setting with a spectacular view. High speed internet for remote working. Safe, quiet cove is ideal location for water activities like swimming, floating, kayaking, canoeing. The main channel is a short boat ride away for high-speed fun. I don't have canoes or kayaks; Mitchell's Marina is the closest for rentals and a boat ramp (15 minute boat ride and 10 minute drive away).

Located on 2.5 acres backing onto a mountain stream, our cabin is minutes from the Blue Ridge Parkway, Appalachian Trail, Glenwood Horse Trail, countless hikes, and several ultramarathon courses. Our cabin is ideal for outdoor enthusiasts and people from all backgrounds are welcome.

Falling Pines Historic Cabin

The original log cabin was built in 1936 by the Civilian Conservation Corps (CCC). These cabins were built after the Blue Ridge Parkway was laid in 1935, which is just down the street. With love and attention our cabin's renovations were complete in 2017. We kept the original log walls to add a rustic feel to the contemporary, crisp clean decor. The cottage overlooks the babbling waters of Back Creek but is just a 5 minute drive to the grocery store, private yet convenient.

Enjoy a relaxing stay in this newly restored cabin that dates back to 1890. Located between Bedford & Lynchburg, you are close to numerous local attractions while also enjoying life in the country. Relax with a book or cup of coffee on the porch or sunroom. Full kitchen has all you need to make meals. Step outside and look for deer and wild turkeys during the day, enjoy star-filled skies at night. Also, be sure to make memories out by the fire pit while you’re here!

Come visit this beautiful cabin nestled in the heart of Craig county VA. This cabin sits on 7 acres of land that back-ups to National Forest. A great space to come relax, slow down and enjoy some beautiful mountain views. This cabin is conveniently located about 10 minutes from the town of New Castle, and about 30 minutes from the VA Triple Crown hiking loop. Public access to Craig's creek about 5 minutes from this location.

Enjoy a peaceful stay in our early 1800’s log cabin. The Cabin sits at the heart of Morris Orchard, a Virginia Century Farm. From the cabin porch, you will look across the pond and enjoy a view of High Peak Mountain, apple orchards, hayfields, and cattle grazing in the pastures. The cabin has been beautifully renovated, preserving the charm and history of the cabin, while adding all the modern amenities you would expect.
