We have sweeping views off the front and back decks, perfect to capture sunrise and sunsets. Our Heated Magnesium Tank Pool is the perfect place for a drink. There is a huge external fire-pit that caters for large groups to enjoy as well as a large deck and BBQ. We have 3 cows that the kids will enjoy feeding. NBN wifi throughout.

Montrose on Moore can accommodate medium to large groups including for bike touring, anniversaries and family reunions. We have a spacious and fully equipped kitchen and dining area and multiple living areas. Feel free to relax on the upstairs veranda on a day bed or in a hammock; or cool off in the in-ground pool.

The Heavenly Express Train is a unique and wonderful 1910 Glenelg Line train carriage originating from South Australia. This charming old carriage is divided down the middle into two cabins - Eastbound and Westbound - with an adjoining double door. The Westbound cabin is ideally suited for a couple, featuring a Queen bed in a cosy living space heated by a wood fire burner. It also includes a fully-equipped kitchenette, bathroom, and deck area with a breathtaking view of the mountain range.

Decorated with a nod to the french farmhouse aesthetic, the light filled rooms feature french cream walls and plantation shutters and farmhouse kitchen. The place is filled with original artworks, found objects and loved pieces. We love to stay at this cottage between our travels - so welcome to our home away from home.

If visiting in Winter please check the weather, the South Burnett can be very cold, pack accordingly. The country kitchen is ideal for those who love to cook. There are a lot of spaces, both dining and lounging areas, and the beds are super comfy. Swim in the pool or kayak in the river.
