Surely the highest cottage, at 1200m altitude, in the Cederberg with spectacular views of the Koue Bokkeveld and the Cederberg. It is set against a mountain peak surrounded by pristine Cape flora. Private stand-alone cottage on a beautiful farm 1.5 hours north of Cape town and 30-40 minutes from Elands Bay. This is a very simple, off-grid, self-catering cottage with beautiful mountain views, a dam to swim in and hiking access to the entire 2000 hectare farm. The farm has established hiking and mountain biking trails, horse riding on request and established sport and trad rock climbing routes. The cottage has two fireplaces, a gas stove, fridge, a gas geyser and solar power.

The stone & wood cottage nestles in a wild garden, the bay, beach and village just a kilometer away. The previous owner, a bachelor in his day, used to entertain girl-friends here – and romance still rules in the one-roomed stone cottage, where the mezzanine bedroom has mountain and sea views.
