The Cuckoo's Nest Glamping Huts: Woody

This is one of two glamping huts at The Cuckoo’s Nest. Inspired by traditional Celtic roundhouses these little wooden huts are situated in the beautiful remote crofting township of Locheynort in the Isle of South Uist. Conveniently located approximately a mile from the main road linking the Isles of Eriskay, South Uist, Benbecula and North Uist, the huts offer an idyllic base from which to explore the islands, to pause whist travelling along the Hebridean Way, or to take a relaxing short break.

The Bothy Isle of Skye

The Bothy is a self-catered home you'll have all to yourself. It includes a supremely comfortable king-size bed, modern dining area and kitchen, and bathroom with a spacious walk-in shower. This cosy home is situated next to Loch Bracadale with panoramic views of the spectacular Cuillin Mountains. The tidal island of Oronsay is a short walk away, while the town of Portree and must-visit Fairy Pools are a mere 25-minute drive. The historic Dunvegan Castle is also just a 20-minute drive away.

In late summer it is surrounded by lovely purple heather which grows freely and abundantly spreading its glorious purple hues across our hills and glens. There are our sheep to see along with the chicken and the resident dogs Ben and Lewis who love walking down to the beach with you. The caravan is well located is between the hebridean way and the arterial road, with plenty parking space behind it
