To Alta Marea βρίσκεται στην περιοχή Βαμβακιές Αλοννήσου, που απέχουν 20 περίπου λεπτά (με το αυτοκίνητο) από το Πατητήρι και 8 λεπτά από τη Στενή Βάλα, όπου μπορείτε να βρείτε σουπερμάρκετ και εστιατόρια. Σε απόσταση μικρότερη των 50μ. από την κατοικία υπάρχει ήσυχη παραλία, χωρίς κόσμο. Ωστόσο, αν κάποιος επιθυμεί κάτι πιο έντονο, σε απόσταση 1 χιλιομέτρου βρίσκεται η διάσημη παραλία του Αγίου Δημητρίου. The old style open kitchen under the pergola, houses a fully equipped kitchen with all the modern facilities.
