Circa 1820, this house started as the private home of Bazil Gordon a short walk from his trading outpost in Historic Falmouth, VA directly on the Rappahannock River. The house has also been a civil war hospital, a stop on the underground railroad, a tavern, an excavation site that found venetian trade beads in the back yard, and it is now completely remodeled in 2021 to host guests.

Hidden Haven is just that! A 600 square foot romantic, private, peaceful, little haven. Hidden in the woods just 6 miles outside of the Town of Orange. Open the garage door in the living area and step out on the 300 square foot screened in porch where you can relax at the firepit under the covered roof. The loft bedroom provides a cozy view of the wood-burning fireplace in the living room below. A key feature to this cozy cabin is the soaking tub large enough for two! Maximum 2-person occupancy. Pets are allowed and are charged a fee of $25 (first night) and $15 (per ea. add'l night).
