There are 2 cabins sharing the 107 acres; the Loghouse, which accommodates up to 10 guests and the Birdhouse, which accommodates up to 6 guests. The first in our western theme cabins is reminiscent of the rugged days of barter & trade and of general stores. As you cross over the raised walkway from the party deck to our latest cabin you will be transformed to another place in time within its period decor. Trading Post sports open and covered decks, a full bathroom, living room, kitchen and dining area. The single bedroom downstairs along with the two open lofts allow for sleeping up to 10 guests between its 6 single use beds.

Sunhillow Farm Getaway

This secluded 3-bedroom cabin has everything you need for your perfect Louisiana-getaway. No traffic, noise or people. Located on 220 acres adjacent to the Bogue Chitto National Wildlife Refuge, the property includes freshwater lakes, a beach, and multiple trails for a beautiful morning or evening walk. Guests have easy access to the BCNWR for deer, hog, etc. hunting, as well as canoes and kayaks. We have blueberries, whitetail deer and chickens supplying fresh eggs, when laying.

Covington Cottage

Our Guest House sits behind our historic home in a lovely residential neighborhood. It is in walking distance to our historic downtown with many galleries, shops, and restaurants. We are just 40 minutes from New Orleans over the the Causeway Bridge. Our Guest House is done with a New Orleans feel. We have a three day minimum stay. We accept pets with prior approval. The guesthouse is not appropriate for infants or young children. We do have friendly pets on the property.
