Countless breathtaking country walks and some of the best food and drink around. A peaceful slice of our wonderful county (and recent film set of Hamnet), perfect for walkers and small market town explorers, ideal as a writers retreat or small family stay.

The Garden House

A beautiful, recently renovated two storey house attached to the host's home. It is secluded, south facing and sunny, with glorious views across water meadows to the river which cuts its way beneath steep woodland and past the best fine dining pub in Herefordshire, The Riverside. The house has its own terraced garden and below, an orchard - great for dogs. We are on the marvellous Mortimer Trail which is a 30 mile walk between the towns of Ludlow and Kington. 45 mins from Hay Festival!
