Detached bathhouse includes composting toilet & outdoor shower. Woodfired sauna may be arranged for an additional fee. Massage therapy may be arranged, as available, in studio onsite. Yurt is rustic, clean, cozy, and beautiful. Heat source is a propane fireplace. Full kitchen. Wifi good but limited cell phone service. Unplug for the weekend!

Yurt camping in Doe Bay area

Relax in a spacious yurt on the side of Mount Pickett next to Moran State Park. Less than a five minute drive to Doe Bay Resort. Twelve miles past Eastsound on the Horseshoe Highway and 20 miles from the ferry landing. The yurt has an outdoor kitchen space with a camp stove and most of the utensils for preparing and serving food. There is an outdoor fire spot and a picnic table for outdoor relaxing and dining. There is also an outdoor shower and outhouse with a composting toilet.

Tucked into the trees above the cabins with a secluded, natural feel, the yurt has partial views of the water. Queen bed, futon, indoor table and chairs, private deck with chairs. The yurt has access to a cook pavilion with a Refrigerator/Freezer, electrical outlets, sink and a communal bathhouse with three private bathrooms. Linens are NOT included but are available for an additional charge. Use of kayaks, paddle boards, row boats included with rental (subject to availability)
