Perfect for walking and riding, the Heysen and Kidman trails are accessible through our back gate. Famous McLaren Vale and Adelaide Hills wineries are nearby. While the guest suite is attached to the main house, it is quite separate and totally private. A 50 minute drive from Adelaide’s CBD and a 20 minute drive from southern beaches, it is perfect for a weekend escape.

This is a truly beautiful and private location situated on a 167 acre working beef cattle farm. Pour yourself a glass of beautiful local Adelaide Hills wine and gaze over the rolling hills, perhaps with the Murray Grey cattle right in front of the house (depending on paddock rotations). Escape to nature's embrace at our Little Rolling Home, nestled on a stunning 12-acre block surrounded by ancient gums, a seasonal creek, and grazing sheep and cattle. Enjoy our little wood heater inside to keep you warm or sit around a fire outside. ( within fire ban season, please note fire ban runs from November 1st 2025- April 30th 2026 ) We have the beautiful Strathalbyn golf course 2 minutes drive, feel free to borrow the golf clubs and have a hit of golf.

It is one of the original stone homes of the area and enjoys stunning 360 degree views of picturesque Lenswood. There is no better place to relax: soak in the gorgeous claw-foot bath looking out to the stars, enjoy that glass of local red by the fire, or try out our apple crumble recipe in the vintage wood-fired Aga.
