Our place is perfect for couples or friends or those on a business trip. Cafes, bars, restaurants and shops are within a five-minute walk. Stroud's award-winning market is every Saturday. The apartment is contained within our house and shares a front door with the main house.

Thrupp is a quiet hamlet only a mile from Stroud town centre. This apartment is an excellent base for enjoying all the delights and amenities of the immediate area and surrounds. Only 10 min walk from the train station , and the historical town centre is this charming studio flat.Set in Laurie Lee's Birth home, formerly known as #2 Glenville Terrace, this studio Flat has been thoroughly refurbished, with a warm and cosy feel to it. The beautiful Slad valley is 25 min walk from the studio and the newly renovated Stroud canal , only 10 min. There are several Pubs within walking distance the nearest only 100 yards down the road. Local amenities are only 200yards away.

This is an idyllic location with stunning views but many amenities and attractions are within walking distance.

We love the local walks, views and the quintessential little Cotswolds high street only minutes walk from the cottage.

Our space is a self contained studio with a bed, sofa, workspace and air con, light and airy it is the ideal base to explore the Stroud Valleys. N.B. THERE IS BUILDING WORK ON OUR HOUSE, THE ANNEXE IS A SEPARATE BUILDING BUT CLOSE TO OUR HOUSE. WORK WILL BE MON-FRI ONLY, BUT THERE WILL BE BUILDING MATERIALS AND MESS IN THE GARDEN. The interior of the annexe will be unaffected, but we have reduced the price to reflect the substandard exterior. Please only book if you understand this.

The studio is a attached to a large house and guests are welcome to enjoy our gardens when not in use by our family. It sleeps 4 (1 double and 1 sofa bed in the same room). Self catered- but can stock fridge in advance on request. Easy access to Stroud, Cheltenham, Gloucester, Tetbury, Cirencester. Beautiful local walks and pubs.
