The picturesque Kirkjufell mountain is framed into the living room large window. This is a excellent place to relax and enjoy nature and to use as a base for day trips around Snæfellsnes. The house is placed in a birds nesting area with a vivid birdlife. Seals are regularly seen in the 3 minute away beach. The house itself is well equipped with big veranda.

In the summer you can watch colorful sunsets and in the wintertime witness the Northern lights in clear skies.
