Beautiful traditional Icelandic house from 1912 located in quiet town- Garður, 200m to cost line, 15 min from Keflavik International Airport. Prefect get away. Please note that the house is renovated but of an older construction. It may creak slightly when walking, and the stairs leading to the bedrooms are steep. If this is not an issue for you, I am confident you will find the house comfortable. It features the charm of traditional Icelandic homes, and I am continuously making improvements.

Our apartment is perfectly located — just a 6-minute drive from Keflavík Airport and 15–20 minutes from the Blue Lagoon. Within a 3-minute walk, you’ll find a public swimming pool with indoor and outdoor pools. A small shopping center, Krossmói, is only 8 minutes away on foot, offering a supermarket, pharmacy, bank (ATM), restaurants, and other shops. The local bus stop is also nearby (outdoor, no kiosk). The house has a typical Icelandic character and offers a peaceful stay surrounded by nature, perfect for relaxing before or after your flight. We are close to the famous Blue Lagoon and the beautiful Seltún geothermal area, making it a great base to explore the Reykjanes Peninsula. Fallegur staður og mikið fuglalíf. Æðarvarp rétt við húsið og hægt að fá leiðsögn um varpið. Stórt kríuvarp á svæðinu. Húsið er á skjólgóðum stað og útsýni út á sjó og sést vel á Snæfellsnesið í góðu skyggni. Á veturna við rétt skilyrði, er mikill möguleiki á að sjá Norðurljós. Húsið er gamalt en allt ný tekið í gegn. Á svefnloftinu er 2 góðar dýnur (brattur stigi upp). Bjart og fallegt. Stutt á flugvöllinn, u.þ.b. 10 mínútur ( 9 km. ), og góð sundlaug í Sandgerði ( 2 km.)

Our house is next to the geo thermal swimming-pool, close to supermarket and only a 5 minutes walk from down town Keflavík where you can find restaurants and all kinds of stores. It's a 15 minutes drive from the Blue Lagoon and 30 minutes drive from Reykjavík.
