Riverwood Hideaway

This OFF-GRID, solar powered hideaway is on the Knife River just a few miles outside of Two Harbors, Minnesota. THERE IS NO RUNNING WATER and LIMITED ELECTRICITY. WE DO HAVE WI-FI. The kitchen has a propane refrigerator and gas oven/stove. Solar power is used for lights and some outlets. Propane fireplace / furnace for heat. The "bathroom" is an outhouse. You bring jugs of drinking water. Hand and dish wash water provided. We supply coffee with pour over utensils, dishes, spices and firewood.

No management company here, NO CLEANING FEES, we do it all by ourselves. Communication, laundry, cleaning and maintenance - our reviews show we take pride in the place. This beautiful Amish built cabin sits high above Jay Cooke State Park and surrounding areas. Stunning views of the park and beyond. Enjoy miles of private trails. We are a working farm so don't be surprised to see livestock in your front yard. No on-grid power or water but there is a solar generator and drinking water is supplied. There's an outdoor shower and a very clean outhouse to use. Come relax and enjoy yourselves!
