The Cottage on Grand Oaks Plantation is a hidden gem in the small town of Monticello, FL. Nestled under a canopy of 200 year old Live Oaks, you will enjoy relaxing as you watch the horses, ring-tailed lemurs, kangaroos... This restored plantation cottage housed guests in the early 1900's, and is now completely renovated with antique stained glass windows and doors, beadboard walls and a screened wrap around porch. Welcome to our A-frame cabin, nestled in charming Old Florida Woodlands. It’s complete with two cots, a hinged wall/awning, fire pit, lounge chairs, a hammock, and a picnic table. From this soft pine-needled space, enjoy the view across the pond, go explore the seasonal garden, feed the fish, and meet our farm dogs. Mostly, enjoy ease and reconnection nature encourages. Due to severe drought this year, the pond is currently very low. However, you can still spot koi, bass, and brim. 🙏🏼

Spend all the time you want at home in Nature relaxing or recreating. This unique treehouse home is set high up in the trees and on 13 acres of natural habitat on the banks of the Santa Fe River. The Santa Fe has so much wildlife, and we are near the famous crystalline Ichetucknee River and miles of public trails. We share our kayaks, a canoe, and many amenities for your stay. So go for a solo paddle, join local guide trips to various springs, or hike on the property and at nearby parks.

The Goat House is tucked away on the edge of woods on the outskirts of Live Oak. Close enough to run to the store and far enough for a quiet starlit night relaxing in a hammock or enjoying a small bonfire on cool nights.
