At the end of a rain-forested road, our waterfront reserve retreat commands an unbeatable view over Phegan’s Bay, a little known, secluded waterway far from the hustle and bustle, yet close enough to dip into the Central Coasts many activities and services. You will wake up to the romantic sound of anchors clinking, birds chirruping, immersed in lifes simple pleasures.

Come, relax and unwind at Salty Dog Cottage Belmont. Sit back with a wine or beer on the verandah admiring the views over Lake Macquarie. This 1920’s cottage comes with lofty ceilings, original floorboards and cedar panelling. Two bedrooms, sleeping 5, Central lounge room, full eat in kitchen, modern bathroom with washing machine and sunroom at rear. Walking distance to Gunyah Hotel next door and LMYC around the corner. Absolute waterfront 3 bedroom cute family cottage!

Sleep literally 5 meters from the clear deepwater frontage great for fishing and swimming. Snorkel for a look at fish and old sandstone ballast from coal ships while eating oysters from rocks at low tide. Watch the sharp shells. (Water shoes, personal life vest, and flippers advised.) Walk the nature reserve and spot the swooping Owls. No fences so please bring extra-long dog leads. Use the kayaks and standup paddleboards while wondering if there is life on Mars! (Jetty is not our property.)
