Granite counters, hickory cabinets, hot tub. The hot tub over looks the Truckee river and all it's beauty. We are a short distance to downtown Truckee and all there little shops and we are 5 minutes outside the Ski Resort Village. Most have told us it's a hidden- GEM. Bird watch, fish or just relax. Across the street from a dog-friendly beach, famous Garwoods restaurant and pier, centrally located to all major north shore ski resorts (Northstar, Diamond Peak, Palisades/Squaw, Alpine, etc) and walking distance to kayak rental and Tahoe National Forest w/incredible hiking, biking, snowmobiling and snowshoeing trails, this home’s location couldn’t be better. We recently updated this home in the last few years & constructed a new loft & bathrooms—we love sharing it with guests!

ON THE TRUCKEE RIVER right in the historic downtown area, our little place is a 2 block walk to restaurants and shopping. You’ll love our place because you can sit inside or in bed and watch the river flow by. It's a peaceful place, new and modern, private and the middle of it all. It's not just a place to stay, it's a destination. QUIET people only please. We have a firm sofa sleeper. we have a couple of other mattresses we can bring in if you prefer a softer bed.
