At 535m above sea level, the red volcanic soil and a good rainfall ensures a lush environment thrives that is home to a wide range of bird life. The mountain is also home to several vineyards and breweries, a distillery, many many restaurants and cafes, a host of curiosity shops and two farmer and craft markets each month. The mountain caters for those who love nature with many bush walking tracks. It is also the gateway to O’Reillys, Lamington and Binna Burra national parks. Sunset on Handglider Hill over looking Canunga with a glass of wine in hand is not to be missed. This architect-designed house is set on a 1.5-acre property near Mount Tamborine. This uniquely built barn situated in the Gold Coast hinterland is within walking distance to national parks. Made from recycled wharf timber, the barn is set on an 18 acre farm beset by green lawns. A king bed with ensuite, separate shower & bath make up the loft bedroom. Downstairs features a second bathroom / laundry, fire place, lounge, study & self inflating bed (inflatable bed linen not included), dining & fully equipped kitchen before walking onto a large deck overlooking the rainforest.

Little Bird Cottage is situated in a quiet, private rainforest grove on Tamborine Mountain. It's character both inside and out is French/English Country with the added romantic atmosphere generated by its secluded rainforest setting. An excellent place to unwind and is within walking distance to Gallery Walk, the Botanical Gardens, National Parks and numerous quality eating venues. Separated by Rainforest trees from the main house this cottage provides guests with privacy and tranquility.

Tiny treehouse

Our tiny tree house is part of gwongorella retreat at the top of Purling brook waterfall. We are the closest property to the waterfall and surrounded by the national park. Tiny treehouse is all glass so you are immersed in the privacy and intimacy of nature, truely bringing the outside inside. Snuggle up by the wood fire or chill in our loft hammock enjoying the beauty of nature with the comfort of a luxurious cosy space. This is a perfect private space for couples.

Alcheringa Coomera (west) House. Binna Burra.

One of 2 exceptional holiday houses in Lamington National Park. Sleeps up to 4 adults in two bedrooms each with en suite plus 2 children in a "kids' loft". (Note: kids love the loft but it is not recommended for adults) Groups of more than 4 can hire the adjacent East House as well. Bookings are accepted for children 4 years and over. The house and grounds are not suitable for younger children, toddlers or babies.
