Pipers Ash is a quaint small hamlet surrounded by green belt, set at the highest point of Chester next to the historical millennium beacon. Perfectly situated just two miles from the beautiful historic Chester city centre. Take a short car ride or just half an hours walk. Chester Zoo is just five minutes drive away. There are many lovely country walks and of course some fabulous country pubs. The trendy suburb of Hoole is only 15 minutes walk. Here you will find bars restaurants and shops.

Located in a peaceful rural hamlet, it's the perfect place to get away from it all, with country walks and cycles on your doorstep. Only a 20 minute drive from Chester and easily accessible for Manchester and Liverpool.

A quaint cottage, at Aston Hill Farm, Ewloe

This is a newly refurbished cottage, which was originally a farm workers cottage, on a dairy farm. It’s quaint and very nicely finished. The log burner makes the sitting room very cosy. The cottage is attached to a stable block, and forms a u-shape of out-buildings, including our carpentry workshop. The main farmhouse is close by, but separate. We have large gardens, which guest are welcome to use, including a barbecue and pizza oven. Rural location, but close to lots of amenities.

The village has two country pubs, a small shop and a train station all within walking distance. A short drive away you will find the Cheshire Showground, Arley Hall, Tatton and Dunham Estates and the market town of Knutsford with its many shops, restaurants and bars. The bright living room has a wood-burning stove and TV, while the dining room leads to a modern kitchen with bifold doors to the secure garden. Pilgrim Cottage is surrounded by rolling countryside and a short distance from the peaceful and quant village centre of Tarvin. Our holiday home has kept some of the stunning and original period details such as the brick fireplace and ceiling beams. The cosy living space with wood burning stove provides the perfect place to socialise after a day of exploring, whilst the private wood-fired hot tub offers a relaxing and romantic escape under the stars.

Sole Use of Cottage in Village close to Chester

The cottage is ia quiet location in the village of Kelsall, close to Chester. It has 2 bedrooms with super comfortable beds, a lounge and dining room with log burner and dining table that can seat 8 people. Fully equipped kitchen with garden room that opens up to an enclosed courtyard area. You will be near the local co-op., The Morris Dancer and The Boot Inn. Fantastic walks from the cottage, including Delemere Forest and The Sandstone Trail.

Grooms Cottage - an idyllic Cheshire rural retreat

Grooms Cottage is adjacent to our home in the charming hamlet of Tiverton, near Tarporley, Cheshire. Built in the Victorian era, the cottage was accommodation for a groom to facilitate hunting and shooting parties from the hunting lodge and stables. Guests are provided with a breakfast welcome pack upon arrival consisting of Croissant, butter, Twinings tea, selection of Tassimo coffee pods, organic milk & Wilkin & Sons preserves, all sealed.
