The Studio at Woodfort Estate

Our studio is perfectly placed for stunning views of our mountain and rolling hill landscapes. A weekend get away or longer retreat will be rewarded with privacy and peace to relax inside or on the spacious patio that captures amazing afternoon sunshine and sun sets! The main bedroom is detached from the living and kitchen, which has a fold out couch for extra guests. Relax in the outdoor bath and enjoy the simplicity of living off grid without lacking to many home comforts. Toilet is detached.

The Potter’s Pad is a gorgeous, private tiny home in the foothills of Pirongia Mountain, with stunning countryside views in every direction The perfect place to experience off grid living but with all the luxuries. We are located in a peaceful rural setting in Ngahinapouri, just off State Highway 39. 15min drive to/from Hamilton Airport and Hamilton City, Mystery Creek 20min, Te Awamutu 15min, 10min to Pirongia Village and 40min to Waitomo Caves and the Raglan Coast Also on our doorstep is Pirongia Mountain with its walking tracks, Ngahinapouri Golf Course 5min away and the renowned Villagrad Winery only 10min away.

Box on the Hill

Box on the Hill is a quiet couples retreat, just 20 min outside of Raglan. From your unit you have vast views of the beautiful Waitetuna Valley, looking out to Mount Pirongia. Couples stay a night, a weekend or chose to elope here. The space is light filled and opens up to your own private garden and outdoor seating. The unit is modern and open plan. It has a comfy queen bed, kitchenette (no stove), bbq, ensuite bathroom and lounge space. Relax with an unplugged stay (no wifi).

Apartment is adjacent to my house on Pirongia Mountain. I'm 20 min from Te Awamutu, 30 min to Hamilton , 40 min to Waitomo Caves, Lake Karapiro or Raglan, 1 hr to Hobbiton & 25 min to Mystery Creek for Field Days. Queen-size bed accommodates up to 2 people. Beautiful views across the area & close access to many local tramping options. Solar-powered apartment is in excellent shape with a kitchen covered with all the basics. Heat pump, wifi & tv (freeview) provided.

Relax at a unique and tranquil getaway, cosy, romantic and immersed in nature. An open plan studio nestled next to a gentle stream on the native forested foothills of Whale bay, Raglan. An easy 6 min walk to the surf at Whale bay, Indicators or Outside Indicators a few mins drive to Manu bay or Ngarunui beach. Warm and cosy with a beautiful open fire, modern insulation & large double glazed sliding doors. The heat pump heats the studio within 15mins.
