Slow down and experience country life on our little plot of land. The cottage is located on our 6 acre property with a tree-lined view with cows in the pasture from the front porch and a sweet view of the ducks in the pond and sheep grazing from the bedroom window. We have two Great Pyrenees dogs, a cat, and chickens. There might be occasional barking. If prolonged, we will bring them in. Fully stocked kitchen. There is always plenty of coffee, coffee creamer, and homemade scones for breakfast.

It has been professionally decorated with handpicked items including some nice vintage and antique finds. Enjoy your morning cup of coffee on the huge deck overlooking the river. This home is close to everything including the Knoxville airport, the Smoky Mountains, Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg.

Hemlock Hideaway, Townsend, TN

This cozy charmer is only one mile to Townsend and 3 miles to the Great Smoky Mountains Park entrance. Finished in reclaimed barn wood, it features real hardwood floors, a large deck, and plenty of windows to get up close views of birds, meadows and distant mountains. A paved concrete path leads from the designated parking space. No stairs to climb and handicap accessible. Please note: this entire property is non-smoking.

It is located upstairs above a garage, but the garage isn’t being used by anyone so you shouldn’t hear any noise from its doors. Included is free parking.

Hannsz Hideaway

Same place with a new exterior look. This has now become an active family farm that requires land and livestock maintenance on a daily, you may hear a bit of noise during daylight hours, unless it’s a holiday weekend when my kids visit, those weekends can get a lot louder. I have been trying to keep my kids quiet for nearly 38 years…..if you’re a parent, you understand.
