The Garden House

Our get-a-way is an oasis on a beautiful island, at the end of the road. We are very close to Fillongly Park with its beaches, views of nearby Hornby Island, and old growth trails along the creek. Our garden house is tucked behind the main house. It's surrounded by abundant landscape, woodland, a seasonal stream, and our horse pasture. The house and it's surroundings are private and peaceful. You may see the horses, a peacock, tree frogs and deer, but you won't see any traffic or crowds.

Welcome to Bench 170. Enjoy the privacy of the entire upper floor of this unique West Coast Modern home, built in 2012, with exclusive use of outdoor spaces. A delight for architecture enthusiasts and art lovers, Bench 170 was a featured venue for the Sunshine Coast Art Crawl for several years.
