Nestled beneath the towering beauty of God's Window and surrounded by lush plantations, our cozy, rustic farm offers a farm experience. As a working farm, Terebinte - "the tree where friends and family gather" - welcomes you to enjoy the charm of country life. Please note, our property is located deep within the forest, requiring a 3km drive on a dirt road. While the road is generally well-maintained, heavy rain may occasionally make it a bit slippery or uneven. We navigate it in small cars too.

The Forest Cottage

A self contained cottage with two air conditioned rooms each 10m², situated within an indigenous patch of forest at the base and to the east of the highest peak in the Blyde River Canyon. From the cottage's verdant veranda stretching the entire length of the cottage, guests are afforded magnificent views over the South African Lowveld and in the distance, The Kruger National Park touching the horizon. It is situated at the very top of the village of Kampersrus within a safe and secure homestead.

Take it easy at this unique, tranquil off-grid getaway. The secluded and private Stone Cottage is nestled among lush indigenous trees and next to an irrigation canal. Thatched and built from stone, the cottage offers stunning views into a verdant garden and over a farm dam. Everything on the property, from the food we grow to how we live, and generate electricity, is based on being environmentally sustainable. Warm and cozy in the winter month due to our newly added heatblanket to your queen bed. Enjoy our garden and our new build infinity pool with stunning mountain views and breathtaking sunsets . You can hear the birds chirping all day long and fall asleep to the sounds of the jungle. Try to spot the owls & bushbabys wich are often sitting in the jacaranda trees around you.

School Bus living in Nature

Enjoy a stay in a 1973 converted school bus that has all the comforts of home and touches of luxury. Self-contained accommodation for two in the bushveld with magnificent views and the sounds of nature. All of this is situated in agricultural lands, 15 minutes away from the centre of Nelspruit. The hosts have 4 large dogs that are well socialised and enjoy meeting new people. The property is a self-sustaining homestead where the hosts grow their own vegetables, farm honey and produce eggs.
