Explore local towns and markets, or watch sheep TV through your window. The Pinnacles and other trails are minutes up the road, and the river's emerald pools close by for a dip. In winter, pour a good glass, settle in with a book, or gaze at the fire as the silent hills fade into the mist. 🌳⛰️🌈

Take a step back into nature whilst glamping at the Retreat. This cabin is located in a tranquil setting. It’s situated on a 30 acre avocado orchard which borders the bush. Thinking of escaping the city life to enjoy the sound of nature? then this is your spot. Plenty of areas to relax in if you’d like to settle into a book, or if you sway more to the adventurous side there’s an array of activities to pursue locally. Please note you are completely off grid .

Cabin in the Woods

Sweet little cabin in the woods that we promise is definitely not the start of a B-grade horror flick (unless you're not great with the odd bug and some low-fi living) A bit of a glamping experience - we use solar lights and a camp stove, but there is some pretty great luxury features. Theres now a wee outdoor patio area, extra comfy couches and the valleys finest loft-based chillzone that takes advantage of the awesome views of the surrounding hills.

Renovated rustic woolshed in peaceful Wentworth Valley a pleasant 5km cycle from Whangamata township Maximum of 4 guests Whangamata is a quiet surf town and was voted best beach in NZ 2017. In summer the town buzzes with cafes and restaurants and it's lovely to be able to enjoy the festivities and then come back to the valley to relax with a wine on the peaceful north facing deck. No parties or events.
