Rail station 5 minutes walk for trains to London including high speed. Canterbury & Margate near by, which boasts Turner contemporary gallery & lovely old town. You will be warmly welcomed to our Victorian home. I provide a generous Full English or Continental breakfast with freshly squeezed orange juice.

The Times featured us! Sappington Granary is a secluded, romantic hideaway in pretty Kent countryside. This 200yr-old wooden farm building has been updated, but retains its unusual charm. Delightfully & individually decorated, it is one of a kind. Inside it is snug & romantic. Perfect for little breaks, peacefully isolated but still close to Canterbury and beaches. Walk in nearby woods, the local valleys or even (if very energetic) to the pub, it is the perfect couples' break.

Covid-19: Guests will be the only guests & have sole use of the bathroom. Breakfast will be available to eat in your room. Double bedded room on the 2nd floor of our Georgian home in Central Dover. The bedroom overlooks the garden. This is one of 2 guest rooms however as I offer sole use of the bathroom, I only book one room at a time. If guests wish to book both rooms (DC1 and DC2) and are happy to share the bathroom I will offer a discount on both rooms. Please request details.
