Blaenavon Log Cabin in the town of Big Pit

Get cozy and settle into this rustic space, close the curtains, light the log fire and chill to some music or maybe watch a film of your choice on Netflix. The cabin in situated on the edge of the Brecon Beacons close to the market town of Abergaveny, with walks, Cycle rides including mountain biking, cold water swimming. The cabin as heating on at all times, but if you want that wow factor, light up the log fire and just relax. (If you have never lit a log burner we can show you how to do it)

Wern farm cottage is a newly renovated property located on Monmouthshire and brecon canal. Open the front door and you will be greeted by a fantastic view of the beautiful working canal, with stunning barge boats passing daily. The long stretch of canal offers fantastic walking and cycling trails to see the beautiful views that South Wales has to offer. Our beautiful cottage has a double bedroom and twin room which sleeps 4 comfortably. Free on road parking at the property.

The newly converted house remains true to its historical past whilst adding a modern twist. The kitchen has been renovated as well as the bathrooms and bedrooms to provide you with the best experience. There is a bus stop at end of the road, a chip shop 2 doors away with delicious food. There is also local pub 5 minutes away that offers fantastic service.

It is a home from home, run by a small family business. Originally built in 1959, it has recently been extended and renovated into a contemporary holiday home which sleeps up to 10. It boasts beautiful views and is the perfect destination to enjoy a relaxing escape to the Welsh countryside.

Only a 10 minutes’ downhill walk to Llandegfedd Lake’s Visitor and Water Sports Centre which also has a lakeside café and walking trails.
