But, now I’ve moved on to my next project and I’m eager to share this cottage with my guests! Our place is 15 minutes from Oklahoma State University, Lake McMurtry East is 3.5 miles away. You’ll love our place because of the outdoors space, tranquility and the wildlife. Our place is good for couples, solo adventurers, and business travelers. Enjoy the stars and nights around the fire pit. Taxes are less out here too - you don't have to pay the 4% city or 7% accommodation taxes when you book with us since we're outside city limits.

Located rurally (3 miles south of Chanute, Ks), we are listed as one of the top ten attractions with numerous flower beds, a historic 1874 stone schoolhouse, a Retail Soap Shop located in a restored barn (handcrafted soaps are made here on site), and the Summit Hill Gardens Event Center- for hosting celebrations of life.

The Cottage at The Lodge at Taylor Ranch

This cozy little cottage used to be our Grandmothers art studio! We upcycled the little building into a place for guests to come relax on the ranch! The cottage is nestled in our tiny RV Park and near our horse and chickens! It has the best view for sunsets over our hay meadow! We have over 200 acres to explore! Bring your fishing gear or ask to borrow ours! We also have 2 Disc Golf Courses as well!
