Nestled within a mountaintop meadow, through a covered bridge & above a small Vermont village, our peaceful cottage is a destination and provides brilliant fall foliage and Vermont's natural beauty. We feel the oxygen and restorative negative ions here on the land from the lush mountain woods; true shinrin-yoku ('forest bathing'). Skiing, hiking, biking, gourmet restaurants, live music, cafés, coffee shops, & health/international market & co-ops exist nearby.

Our lovingly restored gem is located >2 miles outside the historic town of Grafton, Vermont. A lovely walk or 10 min. bike ride from Grafton Inn & Tavern (live music!), General Store, shops, museums, tennis. >3 miles to the Outdoor Center hiking, biking, Nordic skiing & swimming. Direct access to the VAST trail system and easy drive to Okemo, Stratton & Lowell Lake. The house is a well appointed 2 bedrooms, 2 baths. Guests love the spacious common areas, inside and out, all in the school theme.

This is our family home, the house that I was born and raised in 73 years ago. Built by my parents in 1941, it has a beautiful back yard with a year round flowing stream with a footbridge, a couple of buildings that were a horse barn and playhouse from my youth, and even an old mill dam. Located just a few minutes to shopping (Grocery, Pharmacy etc) & the local hospital. Within 25 minutes to Okemo, and several other ski areas are within an hours drive!
