Just a little bigger than the beds. There is a water pump in the bathroom that makes some noise when you drain water. It is otherwise quiet. Bedroom 1 has 150cm bed and bedroom 2 has a 120cm bed. Authentic and romantic lodge originally built of timber and used for the first time back in 1850 as housing for as many as 10 persons. Situated between the sea and the forest and with the northern light as only light in the dark season this might be the perfect place to enjoy North of Norway. The perfect match for a couple, but will also function very well for up to four persons. It is renovated to a modern standard in 2018, with focus on maintaining the heart and soul of the old building.

Perfekt for deg som ønsker et enkelt overnattingssted. • Hytten har et lite kjøkken med kjøleskap, kokeplater og vannkoker. • Dobbelseng • Kjøkkenbord med 2 stoler • Varmeovn • Vanndunker på vasken og 5 liter kaldt drikkevann i kjøleskapet. • Kompost toalett • Bord med benk utenfor der dere kan sitte ute og nyte den stille naturen.

Rakkebu, 25 km from Tromsø city

Only 23 km from the airport in Tromsø. Built in 2007. Perfect conditions for watching aurora borealis because you are well away from the lights of the city. Many aurora guids bring guests to this area. If you are very lucky you can also watch killer whales (orcas) from the beach just below the cottage. Reindeers and other animals also live in this area.
