This snug, grass-roofed eco-cabin offers panoramic views of the Atlantic Ocean. Enjoy a warm Irish welcome, mountain walks on the Beara Way or snorkelling through nearby reefs. Sample local cheeses, lamb, fish and seafood or stoke up the wood-burning stove, have a glass of wine and and savour the peace and tranquillity! Word of warning: we are VERY remote, (1km off the road down a rough track). With almost no public transport, own transport (eg car) is highly recommended - see Getting Around!

A cosy sitting room with woodburning stove and comfortable sofas and a little office area. The stone cottage which is over 250 years old has been recently renovated and retains its traditional style: stone and white-washed walls, inglenook fireplace with wood burning stove. There are also modern conveniences: heating, Wifi, TV with Netflix and fully equipped kitchen. Downstairs there is an open-plan kitchen, dining and living area with a vaulted ceiling and the bathroom. Upstairs is a cosy double bedroom. Outside guests have their own patio and garden area with seating

Shepherds Hut overlooking Kilmackilogue Harbour

We are situated on the Beara Peninsula, just up the road from Helen's Bar in Kilmackilogue. Our Shepherds Hut called The Bothy, overlooks the sea, and is three minutes walk to the beach. Enjoy nature at its best with views of Kenmare Bay and its surrounding mountains. It is a hikers paradise, lying just off 'The Beara Way' . Cyclists will also be in their element with The Healy Pass a few kilometres away. Kenmare is half an hour away with wonderful shops and restaurants.

Llama Lodge at the Alpaca Farm

The Llama Lodge is a free standing stone building behind our farmhouse in a rural location (16km from Kenmare) surrounded by our herd of friendly, free-roaming alpacas & llamas, and stunning views of Kenmare Bay. There is a king-size bed, a small seating area, an en-suite bathroom, and a seating area with a fridge, microwave, toaster, kettle, cutlery & plates. Cereal, milk, porridge, orange juice, snack bars & biscuits are provided in the room, and tea & coffee. AGE 12+
