Copperleigh Trout Cottages - Lodge (Self Catering)

Copperleigh Trout Lodge is a double story self-catering unit built on the edge of the 10ha trout stocked Mavela Dam. Our sheep, goat & cattle farm is located in the Dargle on route 3 of the popular Midlands Meander which has many activities closeby. 1h30min from Durban, 30mins from Howick. A quiet place for families & friends to relax and catch up, enjoy fly fishing, bird watch or hike up iNhlosane mountain which is just a 3km drive away. The outdoor Wood Fired Hot Tub is a firm favourite!

The Fisherman's Cottage

Escape the city life and bring your family to our tranquil piece of heaven. Here, time stands still and you can truly kick your shoes off and just relax from the minute you arrive. The Fisherman's cottage is located on a farm at the foot of the Drakensberg mountains; a short 17km drive from Mooi River. The cottage has panoramic views over a 6ha private trout dam and you can enjoy the spectacular sunsets while sipping your sundowner on the cottage patio, or the deck near the little waterfall.

The house offers two separate units. Unit 1 offers a bedroom, bathroom, full kitchen, and lounge. Unit 2 has two bedrooms with en suite bathrooms, a kitchenette, and TV room. Easy access to main house with steps leading down from parking area. The owners reside discreetly in garden cottage behind property, ensuring assistance while respecting your privacy.

Swissland Chalet

Swissland Chalet, is on a cheese farm, Known and Swissland Cheese or Swissland Pik Nooks Midlands tourist route, close to Michaelhouse School. This quaint chalet has the most amazing views, overlooking natural bush and open valleys. It is a very tranquil, quiet and perfect place to unwind. In addition to this comfortable 2-bedroom double Storey chalet, it has a secluded rock pool, a step away from the front door. The farm road is 2.5km and a steep climb, low cars are not recommended.s

The Cranes@Summerfield Farmstay - Midlands Meander

Well appointed 4 Bedroom home welcomes you to a unique farmstay in a beautiful setting. Forest walks, a few dams for lovely family picnics on a working farm, completes the picture. Price is for 4 People. Additional guests are charged extra. Maximum of 8 The kitchen is fully equipped for self catering and includes stove, oven, fridge-freezer, microwave cutlery and crockery. The living area includes an 8 seater dining table and bar fridges, comfortable seating around a fireplace.
