Beautiful Breeze Cottage sits among the stunning hills of the Dargle Valley. It overlooks 3 tranquil dams, rolling pastures and an indigenous forest. There are cattle and horses in the fields, abundant bird life to enjoy and peacefulness to breath in. It's the perfect place to recharge while escaping the pressures of city life and with the Midlands Meander on our doorstep you can be as busy or as quiet as you choose. The farm is now fully off Eskom power so load shedding is a distant memory.

Forest Falls Treehouse

Enjoy the serenity of nature on the edge of the Umgeni Valley. Conveniently placed less than 10 minutes away from Hilton Village. This is no normal cottage. Our Forest Falls Treehouse is built at the confluence of two streams. Perched amongst trees, birds are constant visitors while shy nyala often make an appearance. This self-catering cottage can be reached after a short walk in an indigenous forest down steep stairs built into a cliff face. Meals can be purchased through prior arrangements.

Pennygrove Cottage, 4 Sleeper Midlands getaway

Quaint 4 sleeper cottage with an exquisite dam view... the perfect place to unwind and relax. The smallest of three units on the property, it is perfect for couples, or a small family looking for a beautiful Midlands break away. (The other units are a 6 Sleeper Farmhouse - please see 'Pennygrove Farmhouse' and a 6 Sleeper shed conversion - see 'Nguni Cottage') Lovely walks and Bass fishing to keep you busy during the day, and a fire pit for those cold Midlands nights. Load shedding friendly.

Caversham Woods farm cottage 4 - KZN Midlands

Our farm is in the heart of the Midlands a great place to relax and unwind. The river is great for tubing and fishing. There are beautiful walks and bike rides around the area. You can ride from the cottage and explore the surrounding forests which go from Lions river all the way to the Karkloof. We have fantastic restaurants right close by, La Lampara Caversham Mill and Piggley Wiggley is 5 min away. The cottages have comfortable luxury beds with cotton percale linen and large bath sheets.

Copperleigh Trout Cottages - Lodge (Self Catering)

Copperleigh Trout Lodge is a double story self-catering unit built on the edge of the 10ha trout stocked Mavela Dam. Our sheep, goat & cattle farm is located in the Dargle on route 3 of the popular Midlands Meander which has many activities closeby. 1h30min from Durban, 30mins from Howick. A quiet place for families & friends to relax and catch up, enjoy fly fishing, bird watch or hike up iNhlosane mountain which is just a 3km drive away. The outdoor Wood Fired Hot Tub is a firm favourite!

Wonderful private and quiet country cottage with lovely views over the Umgeni river conservancy. Enjoy walks at the river or simply chill on the jacuzzi and relax. If you’re needing a break from the hustle and bustle look no further than the tranquility found at Figtree Cottage! The cottage offers a large bedroom with a walk in shower en-suite. There is a small deck area off the bedroom and the living room which has an outdoor jacuzzi. Enjoy a warm jacuzzi under the stars.

River Cottage

Tuck yourself away in the heart of the Karkloof valley. Feast your eyes on the beautiful view, watching the sunset over the river on your doorstep. Secure and serene, this little getaway is both convenient and tranquil. Neighbouring some of the best biking trails in the country and home to some beautiful walks and the well-known bird hides and the Karkloof Conservation Centre. The River Cottage sleeps 2 adults with an option to share with your kids too. Treat Yourself!

Woodsong Cottage - Self Catering

The cottage is situated in The Dargle Valley bordering a forestry estate and overlooks the uMngeni River. It is nestled in the trees next to the main house on Woodsong Farm, which is a small life-style farm where you are free to explore the surroundings. Enjoy walks to the small dam with a picnic basket and bird-watch, take photos, enjoy some casual fishing and wild-swimming. The cottage is not suitable from small children. The cottage is not pet friendly.

The Groves Manor House - Caversham Valley

The Groves Manor House is a charming double story thatch homestead lovingly restored and situated in the rolling hills of the Caversham Valley in the centre of the Midlands. Country gardens cascading with roses and fruit trees cover the property and the rolling lawns wind down to the Mpofana river. This self catering home sleeps 14 guests in 6 rooms with 5,5 bathrooms a fully equipped kitchen, braai facilities, bar and verandah which overlooks the river.

Kamberg Cottages is set in an agricultural area of Kamberg Valley. Couples & small families love to escape here to re-connect/re-set, to soak up the mountain views, open space, bonfires etc. or to explore the 3 well loved nature reserves.
