Located between Uvalde and Concan, Texas, a short ride to the Frio river, concerts in concan, the Briscoe/Garner museum, restaurants, hiking at Garner State park, zoo located at Park Chalk Bluff, and much more. Your home away from home. Full kitchen, linens provided, and plenty of room for your family or just you and the stars.

Get back to the basics in a peaceful cozy cabin at FoxFire in Vanderpool. "Amadeo" is a secluded 9 acre get away on Saddle Mountain all to yourself, not shared. 2 cabins with 2 full baths & glorified outhouse/shower by salt water pool & spa. Outdoor lounging, covered dining areas, game area, star gazing by the fire pit. We are located 1 mile from river crossing, 5 mins from town, 10 mins from Garner. Beautiful sunsets and view of the hills, also hiking. Each cabin has queen bed, full loft, full futon couch, covered porches. We also love our guests’ fur babies!

A quiet family friendly getaway perfect to unwind, relax, bird watch and disconnect from everyday life. Wi-fi is not available. Sleeps up to six people. Bottom level has a full size bed, full bath, fully stocked kitchen,stove, full size refrigerator, coffee bar, screened in porch. One bathroom inside and half bath outside. Located 16 miles N. of Uvalde, bumpy entrance road is 1.2 miles N. of Chalk Bluff. Park. The cabin is 1/4 mile, walking distance to the clear, beautiful Nueces River.

Further adventures await within a few miles at the Frio and Nueces Rivers for hiking, tubing, and kayaking. Cooks Slough Nature Park is a popular spot for bird watching and hiking and is just south of the city limits.

A couple of minutes walk to the town square, boutiques, and restaurants. 2 min drive to HEB or any other stores to get some supplies!
