The cabin has a full custom kitchen, full bath, and a private view of the Matanuska Glacier from inside the cabin or from the deck. Prepare your own meals in the fully equipped kitchen, or dine at our local lodge across the road. The Glacier View Log Cabin sleeps up to 6 and has TV, wifi, and woodstove heat. Glacier View Cabin #1 offers a rustic escape near the historic Pinochle Trail and the majestic Matanuska Glacier. Hike, bike, or ride directly from the cabin! Inside, you'll find 1 queen bed, 2 bunks with foam mattresses, small nook, electricity, heater, keurig coffee maker, and hot water kettle. Features include room-darkening shades. Please bring your own pillows, sleeping bags, and drinking water. Our dry cabins offer convenient outhouses, a fire ring, and a picnic table outside.

This new 18x20 Alaska cabin is near McCarthy airport. Complete kitchen and tiled walk-in shower. The best view by far of Mt. Blackburn, Ice Fall, and the Kennicott Mine right from the deck. You won't want to get off the deck. We offer vehicle transportation during your visit for a small fee (gas). Usually $10 for two days. We offer breakfast and light lunches. Bottled water too.
