Gadestatt is a traditional Maiensäss. A Maiensäss is a cultural peculiarity of Swiss history. These simple but beautiful wooden buildings used to be inhabited on the Alps during the summer. From here the cows were guarded and cheese was made from fresh milk. Gadestatt offers you an authentic overnight accommodation with lots of charm and attention to detail. Für Ihre Verpflegung gibt es im Erdgeschoss die Möglichkeit, die Gemeinschaftsküche zu benutzen. Frühstück können Sie vor Ort buchen. Fr. 15.-- pro Person.

Because it’s a clean place for sleep, in the city-center with great breakfast and because we are one of the few listings in town including the «Ticino Ticket» for FREE use of all public transport in Canton Ticino (boat cruises and mountain cable-cars excl.)
