Our solar powered cottage is the ideal place to enjoy a relaxing getaway in Onrus. Mere minutes from Hermanus, the cottage is located within walking distance from the beach and various tidal pools in the area. Fitted with solar panels, battery and inverter, the cottage has back-up power and is ‘loadshedding proof’. The space is beautifully furnished & decorated, stylish enough to make it feel special, but informal enough to enjoy your time at the beach. We offer RELIABLE, FAST FIBER internet.

Cosy and light two bedroom cottage on the premises of one of the original old houses in Onrus - surrounded by local cafe's and restaurants. You will find yourself in a buzzing little neighbourhood, spoiled for choice with all the local eateries, coffee shops and deli’s - conveniently situated with a 8 minute walk to the main beach. The kitchen and lounge are open planned with a fireplace and an outdoor braai on the covered veranda. Suitable for 2 couples, single travellers or a small family.

This delightful house is tucked away in a grove of trees overlooking the Vermont Saltpan,which is a bird sanctuary. Recent solar panels on the roof feed into a battery and inverter system. Loadshedding is no longer an issue. This tastefully furnished, four bedroom home, is fully equipped caters for upto 8 guests. The perfect place to getaway from it. The Saltpan is fed only by rainfall and run-off from the mountains and in years when there has been low rainfall the pan often dries out.

With its stunning views and just the sounds of nature, Whale Huys seems far removed from the busy hustle and bustle of our daily lives. but is close to the wineries and renowned country restaurants the area is famous for. Outdoor and cultural activities abound. Just 5 min. from Gansbaai for shopping.

Mountain & Sea Cottage

A neat comfortable flat in a peaceful neighbourhood, a 500m walk away from the Onrus to Sandbaai coastal path. Great locations for swimming, surfing, diving or just catching some sun rays. If you like mountain biking or hiking the mountains are also just around the corner. The stoep features a wood fired hot tub and fire pit and looks towards the mountains and a stand of bluegums which attracts a lot of bird life. The flat is on our property but is completely separate with secure parking.

Centrally located in Onrus, the self-catering flatlet is a 15 min walk from Onrus Beach, tidal pools, coastal path, shopping centre, restaurants. Quiet & safe neighbourhood; secure garage parking; motorised gate shared with host; private ground floor entrance; staircase leading to compact open-plan flat. Kitchenette well equipped (no oven). Large north-facing window, with view of Onrus mountains. King-sized bed. Ideal for 1-2 travellers looking for a comfortable breakaway.

Oppiedam Family Cabins (Flamingo)

The cabin is situated right on the edge of the Bot River lagoon. Has a big garden and the views are fantastic! Within walking distance of the beach and close to communal pool and tennis courts. Cozy 2 bedroomed double-storey log cabin, with two bathrooms. Queen size bed, double bed and single bed on the mezzanine. The wild horses often graze in front of the cabin and at times there are hundreds of terns and flamingos! Fully equipped for self-catering.

The Cottage

Beach feel with lounge, dining room and kitchen area open plan. Separate bedroom with bathroom. Beautiful outside area to relax with braai facility and Mountain View’s. 5 minute walk to restaurants and pub, 15 minute walk to the well known Onrus beach and lagoon. Close to shopping centre 1 km , we have a valley full of wine farms and wonderful markets on Saturdays. We can’t wait to meet you.
