About this Space Our cozy Studio Retreat is nestled in the woods on the 2nd floor of our detached garage, 5 min outside the charming village of Bristol. Bristol has several very good restaurants, shops, an art gallery and a library. You'll find hiking, biking trails and swimming. Middlebury is 15 min away and offers art galleries, breweries, a winery, shops, restaurants, hiking, skiing and more. Burlington is 45 min away, Sugarbush & Mad River Glen ski areas are just 30 min away. Lots to do!

Once a barn, carefully reconstructed on the owners’ property, and modernized to today’s standards, this post and beam cabin is warm and cosy in winter and cool in summer. The Yurt In The Woods is 30 ft in diameter - 700 spacious sq. ft. It's surrounded by trees and has a yard. 2 night stays required for Weekends. The month of October I require a two night stay. Relax with your family in a quiet neighborhood nestled in the foothills of Mount Mansfield. You will have access to hiking trails, mountain biking trails, snowboarding/skiing, and swimming! Smugglers' Notch, a fantastic family ski resort, is only a 15 minute drive. Stowe is 30 minutes away (one hour in winter). If you are interested in checking out Burlington during your stay, we are only a 45 minutes to amazing restaurants and lake views.
