Stedet har perfekt beliggenhet hvis du ønsker å oppleve kjente turiststeder øst eller vest i Lofoten. Leilighet på garasjeloft med stor sørvendt balkong og fantastisk utsikt mot fjell og fiskevann, den har retromøbler. Utenfor døra finnes et flott terreng for toppturer både til fots og på ski. I tillegg er det et flott utgangspunkt for å utforske resten av lofoten siden stedets plasseringen midt i Lofoten gjør at de fleste steder kan nås i løpet av en time. Kvelden kan man tilbringe forran vedovnen mens man venter på nordlyset.

Med en time i bil til både Svolvær den ene veien og Å den andre. Rett utenfor leiligheten er det muligheter for fine fjellturer. Stamsund har også både matbutikker, restaurant og kafé i gangavstand.
