Welcome to Ethel Mae's Cottage! This newly renovated house is the perfect spot to be your home away from home for a weekend or more. The cottage includes a full kitchen with supplies to cook with, TV, Wifi, washer and dryer, and a spot inside the garage for your car. There are two bedrooms with full/queen beds, and a queen sofa sleeper in the living room accommodates additional guests. There is also a quiet sun room that has a twin day bed that is perfect for additional sleeping arrangements.

Guests have a private assigned bathroom in our shared bath house building with modern showers and code locks. Expect gravel/grass terrain, wildlife sounds, and a relaxing rural setting. This historic, 700 square foot loft, is located on the square above the Garrison House, in Clarinda IA. Our 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom space features 14 foot ceilings, oversized windows, and exposed brick. Booking your stay at the loft includes FREE Breakfast or Lunch for up to 2 people per day Monday-Saturday from 6am-2pm at the Garrison. Guests can walk downstairs to the Garrison or call and have it delivered. The menu can be found online.

A railroad depot renovated into a bunkhouse located midway on the Wabash Trace Nature Trail. It includes 2 bedrooms, kitchenette, and bathroom with shower. A/C & heat, coffee maker, dorm fridge, microwave, and toaster oven. Linens and towels provided. One queen bed, the other twin bunk beds. The Futon in the living area folds out. Conveniently located 2 blocks from downtown. No pets please.

Idlewood Cabin

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. Set on a wooded hillside overlooking the East Nishnabotna River valley, our lovely guest cabin is a great place to relax ( no TV in cabin ). Wake up in the morning to birdsong and the chatter of squirrels in the trees. Enjoy a campfire in the picnic area just outside your door. Just a note, we don't allow pets.
