Het ruime, overkapte terras van 6x3 meter (westen) betrek je gemakkelijk bij de leefruimte. Je zit echt áán het (zwem)water van de schone plas. Ideaal als je echt even tot rust wilt komen of wanneer je overdag de stad wilt ontdekken en daarna weer wil ontspannen. Het eiland is uitsluitend per boot bereikbaar. Voor €30 per dag huur je een motorbootje waarmee je eenvoudig van en naar het eiland vaart én de Vinkeveense Plassen kunt verkennen.

Lovely holiday home at the beautiful Buitenborgh recreation park by the water. Swimming, boating, stand-up paddleboarding, fishing, and enjoying the sun is our motto. Amsterdam and other Randstad cities are easily accessible by car. Public transport is located a little further away; there is a bus stop about 1 km walk/bike ride away, and a train station is 4 km walk/bike ride away. Having your own transport is recommended and parking is available in Abcoude.

Guesthouse Bethune is located in the beautiful village of Tienhoven, in the middle of the Dutch lake district. Amsterdam (30 min by car) and Utrecht (15 min) are nearby. The area is famous for biking and hiking but also boat trips along the river Vecht with its castles and famous historic houses.
