There is a small electric heater..a wood fire and electric blanket. separate kitchen with gas burner and small fridge. outdoor bathroom not too far away. . Lots of great walks, and close to bike trail..12km from the beach If you like animals and a bit of outdoor space you will like it here. (there can be insects and spiders)

There is 1 cabin with bedroom ,1 cabin with kitchenette and couch and 1 cabin with toilet and shower...Private, next to bush and stream with view of the mountain..There is lots of outdoor space to relax in..with outdoor fireplace...the sound of running water..bush... close to rail trail..and bush walks, in the heart of gold mining history. lf you like peace and nature you will be happy here. Grab a bean bag and a book,sit in the bush or on the bush edge and allow nature to nurse you and relax.

The Garden Retreat Waitawheta

This couples Retreat is ideal for that relaxing , rejuvenating break. This calm stylish space will let you do that. Set in beautiful gardens with views to nearby hills,excellent hikes and river walks nearby.What else could you need for that getaway. A well fitted out cabin with all modern facilities available. Kitchen with cooking facilities and all you require. Queen size bed and inside bathroom with towels,shampoo and body wash supplied. Outside sitting area with barbecue for you to use.

Waihi Beach House Studio Unit

Self contained, fully carpeted studio unit. Very private. Not suitable for children or mobile infants. Waihi Beach is a short walk away from the studio unit. There are numerous cafes and restaurants nearby in the village all walking distance if required. During the winter season however some of the cafes and restaurants do close mid week. Please let me know if you require anything. There are two small dogs on the property but are contained in a seperate area from the studio unit.

The second Victorian themed bedroom has two single beds with quality linen. A fifth person can use the daybed in the living area, also with a very comfy mattress.

A north facing aspect located above the Karangahake Gorge just a short walk/drive from the Owharoa Waterfall where the most scenic parts of the Hauraki rail-trail cycle-way can be accessed. Modern fittings are used throughout the luxurious semi-detached bathroom that is nestled amongst trees. From the cottage deck survey the Coromandel and watch tui, bellbird, kereru, kaka and more vie for your attention.
