Spruce Run Cottage, Farm stay on Catoctin Mountain

The cottage is located on 25 acres of mostly wooded terrain off Highway 17 near Wolfsville, Maryland, less than an hour and a half from D.C. The cottage faces the woods and the private drive down to the creek. There is almost zero light pollution at night so stargazing is incredible from the balcony. The hosts live on the property up the hill in an 1890’s chink log cabin. Although you can see our house, the cottage feels very private and is a quiet comfortable retreat in the hills.

Boutique accommodations are defined as a unique and luxurious space~and that is what you will find here at Marble Ridge. The private entrance opens up to a living space that is comfortably modern with clean lines. The large picture windows allow tons of natural light and a spectacular view. You will have all the amenities available to you such as a full kitchen with refrigerator/freezer, stove/oven, microwave, coffee maker, dishwasher, WiFi, TV, fireplace, private full bath.

Private Lake House in western MD

Minutes from DC/Baltimore with private (no one else!) fresh water lake. This is a man made lake (as all are in MD) originally providing water for nearby orchards. It is stream and spring fed with large mouth bass, crappie, and sunfish. Catch and release fishing is permitted. Although I share access to nearby locals, if you are renting it is exclusively yours. Queen size bed in bedroom and queen size pull out futon bed in living room sleeping 4 adults!

Your little cabin in the woods awaits. The cabin is situated on 383 acres, on the South Mountain formation in Frederick county. the property is adjacent to the Frederick City Watershed and within 15 minutes of 2 State Parks and a National Park. The cabin is fully equipped for your mountain get away and heated by a wood stove with propane heat in case of an emergency. We also provide internet that is reliable and fast for all your modern needs.

Between the Rivers Guest house is centrally located in historic Harpers Ferry and walking distance to all shops and restaurants. You will enjoy staying in the towns original "Telephone Building". Take in river views from our front porch and a relaxing outside patio.
