U vindt ons tussen Amsterdam (ong. 30 minuten, auto), Schiphol (ong. 20 minuten, auto en 30 minuten, bus) en Den Haag (ong. 35 minuten, auto) in het Groene Hart. Veel mogelijkheden om te fietsen, wandelen (gelegen aan het Marskramerpad), varen, steden en/of strand (25 minuten) te bezoeken. Wandelen/fietsen (te huur) door de Baarnse bossen, bij Zwiethouse vuurtje stoken, naar de Soesterduinen, pannenkoeken eten in Lage Vuursche, met de fietsboot naar Spakenburg of winkelen in Amsterdam, Amersfoort of Utrecht.
